Healing the Healers with Nexus Community Partners (ROOTS)
It’s hard to believe it has almost been a year since my first partnership with Nexus Community Partners. I was both elated and nervous to present, but I trusted my inner wisdom. Creating space for healers to heal through floral arrangement and artistic expression had long been a dream of mine, one that was finally coming to fruition.
More than 40 people expressed interest in participating. While I was only able to provide instruction and supplies for 10 healers, each participant was selected through a raffle, making the experience both intimate and deeply intentional. I truly believe those selected were the ones who needed to be there. After all, the universe does not leave room for coincidences, only alignment.
Connecting with participants through oracle cards created a personalized and meaningful experience. For many healers, it was their first time working with florals, while for others, it offered an opportunity to expand their practice, deepen their understanding of floral arrangements, and explore the holistic and spiritual messages embedded within their work. I demonstrated the power of removing the outer layer of roses, flexing tulip petals to show adaptability and new forms, and pulling back the greens of carnations to encourage full bloom.
In appreciation for my first class, I gifted participants spiritual tools of plant medicine and a rose quartz butterfly, symbols of gratitude, love, and openness, marking the beginning of a shared journey of healing and creativity.
