I’m Laura (Lao-rah), a public health professional with an MPH, an Adjunct Professor, and a passionate advocate for community-centered health equity.
This is my first post, and I’m excited to share insights from my work in public health, policy, and research—plus a few personal touches along the way. From leading equity-focused programs to mentoring future public health leaders, my goal is to turn evidence into action that truly makes a difference.
You’ll also get glimpses of what inspires me: mindfulness, Reiki, flowers, and life with my English Bulldog. Stick around for stories, strategies, and reflections on how we can build healthier, more equitable communities together!
Just as communities evolve, I too will grow and adapt as I navigate this journey. Thank you for bringing your open heart and open mind—I’m grateful to share this space with you.
